France-Singapore Joint Year of Sustainability

On April 11, 2024, the Joint Year of Sustainability between France and Singapore was officially launched, signifying a significant milestone in the bilateral relations of the two nations. The launch event, held during a dinner attended by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and French President Emmanuel Macron, marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and aims to highlight and promote cooperation in sustainable development and the green transition.

This resonates strongly with Shift4Good’s unique positioning for several reasons:

Firstly, Shift4Good is an Article 9 Impact Fund with a dual-headquarters structure in Paris and Singapore. We are focused on sustainable mobility, not just road but also maritime sustainable mobility.

Secondly, we are supported by French & Singaporean Tier 1 LPs, such as Bpifrance, Renault Group, and ComfortDelGro. Our LPs are all engaged in the decarbonization of transportation.

Additionally, we have also started to build a portfolio of fabulous startups based in both France and Singapore.

Lastly, we are co-investing with some of the best tech VCs in Singapore such as Motion Ventures (co-investor with us not only in Pyxis but also in Sinay), SGInnovate (co-investor with us in NEU Battery Materials), and SEEDS Capital (co-investor with us in Pyxis).

As the France-Singapore Joint Year of Sustainability ignites a collective push towards a greener future, Shift4Good stands at the forefront of driving decarbonization efforts in mobility.
