Françoise Le Poulichet

Operating Partner

After my mathematical statistics curriculum at Cambridge University, I started my career in London as an actuarial analyst supporting pension Funds mergers and acquisition negotiation.

After a few years,  my passion for products & technology quickly caught me up and I decided to join the Automotive Industry.

For 6 years, within Renault Group internal audit department,  I had the chance to work with top executives from different business lines and functions all around Europe – from vehicle design , supply chain, manufacturing , regional sales and  marketing team, financing, vehicle retail, aftersales – focusing on operation excellence.

When the time came for me to take operational responsibilities, I wanted to focus on vehicle design and innovation. I joined the newly created French-Japanese Renault-Nissan Alliance purchasing organization in charge of EV & hybrid technology & set up strategic partnerships on components such as batteries. Followed a number of purchasing management missions including shortage management, new product industrialization worldwide, innovation strategic cooperation, CSR supply chain assessment framing and deployment, set up of a new operation in China. This last function took me to China for 4 year working both in Shanghai and Wuhan first in purchasing and then in business development and local management role.

In 2017, I joined Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance Product Planning to set up the Autonomous & Connected car team as a X-country operation in France and Japan. In addition,  I also became an advisor to the Alliance Ventures CVC and supported investment in tech companies in Europe and China.

After 20+ in automotive industry, I wanted to leverage my experience to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility. So end of 2022, I decided to join Yann, Sébastien, Matthieu and Thierry & the Shift4Good Venture.

On top of that, I have been acting as entrepreneur business angel for 10+ years in the mobility field.

What I love doing

Beyond quality time with my “Boys band” : my partner and my three sons - like many fellow people from Brittany - I love a bit of adventure especially on seas and oceans. I was lucky enough to take time off work to sail across the Atlantic ocean and the Drake passage down to Antarctica. More recently, we sailed as a family the Inland passage from Alaska. On a more daily basis, I love biking and am always eager to try a new model.
