I grew up in the south of France and came to Paris for my studies at Paris Dauphine University. Whilst studying Economics, I found a true interest in Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition challenges. I specialized in Environmental Economics with a focus on Energy, Sustainable Development Goals and Circular Economy business application. I was then convinced that I wanted my career to be focused on these topics. During this period, I had the chance to live in Thailand for few months and do several internships. One of them, at the Vedecom Institute (Research Institute dedicated to the Future of Mobility), has particularly marked me.
I then pursued a master’s degree at ESSEC Business School to specialize in Finance and Investment. I was convinced that investing in impactful companies was the most efficient lever to accelerate the Transition. During my studies, I worked part-time at Bpifrance, within the Export Finance subsidiary, to assess sustainability of projects financed by the bank abroad. I was also involved in the development of the Climate Bonus, a financial incentive granted to projects aligned with the European Taxonomy on sustainable activities.
The notion of Just Transition sparked my interest particularly. That is why, I worked at Amundi, European Asset Manager, for a Social Impact Investment fund called Finance & Solidarité, as an end-of-study internship. As my first full time job, Shift4Good appeared to be the perfect place that gathers my interests in Sustainability, Impact Investing and Entrepreneurship.
