Electrification Milestones

TOLV: Accelerating fleet decarbonization by retrofitting diesel-powered light commercial vehicles (LCVs) into electric models. In 2024, TOLV achieved the official homologation of the retrofitted Renault Master and delivered retrofitted vehicles to multiple clients, including VINCI and Lyon and Rouen Metropoles. By giving existing fleets a second life, TOLV is reducing emissions without wasting resources on new vehicle production.

Pyxis: Leading the electrification of coastal vessel fleets, Pyxis launched a fully electric passenger vessel in Singapore designed for port and ship workers. This milestone marks a significant step in addressing maritime emissions in Asia, with their asset-light manufacturing model reducing emissions by 28% compared to diesel-powered alternatives.

ChargeEuropa: Addressing range anxiety in underserved regions, ChargeEuropa expanded its EV charging network across Central and Eastern Europe in 2024. With an unprecedented deployment in Poland, the company is approaching its 100th installed charging station, providing a scalable and cost-effective solution to accelerate the transition to electric mobility.

GCK: Advancing decarbonization across heavy transport and energy systems, GCK achieved a world-first homologation for a hydrogen-retrofitted coach, setting the stage for series production. The company secured a major contract to retrofit 50 hydrogen coaches for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and partnered with Keolis to expand hydrogen-powered public transport solutions.

Bound4blue: Leading advancements in maritime sustainability, Bound4blue installed three record-breaking 26-meter-high eSAILs® for Louis Dreyfus Armateurs in 2024. These innovative suction sails enable cargo ships to achieve up to 30% fuel savings. The company’s order book expanded by 250% this year, supported by new agreements with Marubeni Corporation, Louis Dreyfus Company, and Maersk Tankers, reinforcing its position at the forefront of maritime decarbonization.

Sinay: Leveraging data-driven insights to enhance sustainability in maritime logistics, biodiversity, and traffic visibility, Sinay continued its rapide expansion and reached new market in Southeast Asia in 2024. By enabling companies to monitor air, water, and noise quality, the Sinay Hub supports compliance with stricter environmental regulations while improving operational efficiency.

Circular Economy and Battery Recycling

Neu Battery Materials: Scaling sustainable battery solutions, Neu Battery Materials opened its first factory in Singapore in 2024. The company’s patented electrochemical technology enables efficient lithium recovery from EV batteries, addressing low recycling rates. Recognized as one of the most promising climate tech companies in the Indo-Pacific region, Neu Battery is driving the shift to a circular economy in the battery sector.

Smart Mobility and Micromobility

Laka: Reinventing bike insurance with its collective model, Laka expanded its European footprint in 2024. The company partnered with leading brands like Decathlon, Gazelle and Riese & Müller and, after Cylantro, acquired CoverCloud’s bike portfolio to solidify its leadership in the e-bike insurance market.

Vapaus: Promoting zero-emission commuting, Vapaus continues to scale its employee bike leasing program, enabling users to replace up to 42 kilometers of car commuting per week. The company achieved sixfold growth over the last two years, solidifying its leadership in Finland and expanding successfully in Sweden.

Data and AI-Driven Innovations

Shippeo: Advancing logistics with real-time visibility, Shippeo was named a global leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Real-Time Transportation Visibility Platforms in 2024, confirming its global leadership beyond Europe. They continued collaboration with major global OEMs as they unveiled powerful new features, extending shipment visibility depth and coverage to help users create anti-fragile global supply chains.

Compredict: Driving predictive maintenance, Compredict signed long-term series production contract with Renault Group to embed its virtual sensors into vehicles, extending their lifespan and reducing emissions. The company also closed a Series B funding round and gained recognition at VivaTech 2024 for its AI-driven insights.

Teraki: Optimizing ADAS and autonomous driving technologies, Teraki joined the EIC Scaling Club Network as a top deep-tech scale-up in 2024. The company continues to collaborate with sensor OEMs and automakers to enhance energy efficiency and ADAS scalability.

EyeLights: Redefining how data is displayed in vehicles, EyeLights uses AR technology to project information directly onto windshields, reducing emissions linked to interior displays.
